A big thanks to everyone who came along to the Screamfeeder gigs, and a big thanks to Dave at Trout for giving them a gig at such short notice when the Lewisham gig got cancelled. They were great shows, and great people.

Congratulations go to Trout for being awarded Tasmania's most supportive music venue, to Waiter for best album, and to The Que Experience and Jordan Millar for best up and coming artists. And everyone else too.

New EP
Ant, Goughy, Marcus and Linc recently got home from Sydney where they spent ten days recording and mixing the new EP with Producer Anton Hagop. We can tell you that it's going to be a five-track affair, and that it sounds awesome.

We still need to negotiate distribution, as well as finish the artwork, choose a single and shoot a clip for it, so the release date is estimated to be in late February.

Between the Motion and the Act v2.0
Having completely sold out of their debut album, Fell to Erin will be releasing a newly remixed and remastered edition of Between the Motion and the Act. The new version will be available FREE from the bands website in a week or so, or available on CD from the band at a small cost.

The re-release will be celebrated with a special Between the debut and the re-release gig at the Dr Syntax on Saturday the 10th of September.

Fell to Erin win some award

Courtesy of Arts Tasmania, Fell to Erin received Tasmania's most promising contemporary original music act. We're still trying to figure out what that means exactly, but the important thing is that we got a cheque for $3000, and another wacky photo in the Mercury. Thank you goes to Arts Tasmania and the minister for the arts, Lara Giddings.

Don't forget to sign the new guestbook. Cheers.

Thanks to all the people that rocked up to Marion Bay on Thursday morning. The band had a great time playing, and there was a fantastic turnout to see us kick off the Falls Festival for 2004. Photos will be up soon, and possibly a live recording as well.

December 15th, 2004

Falls Festival playing times have been announced, and the good news is that Fell to Erin get to kick off the festival.

Make sure you all get there bright and early to see FTE play the Field stage at 11:00am on Thursday the 30th. We'll kick things off to a rockin' start, so we need the biggest audience we can muster.

Rocktober 19th, 2004

Thanks to all those who came along to The Go Set or the Syntax. Quote of the week goes to a member of a prominent Hobart band. Conversation was thus:

Him: Hey, you guys were really good. What's your band called?

Me: Uh, we're called Fell to Erin.

Him: What? Bullshit. Really? I thought this was your rock and roll side project.

New Fell to Erin photos have been added to The Naked Dwarf, so head on over to have a look at those, and stacks of other rock pics from around the state.

No gigs to warn you about at present, but stay tuned for further announcements soon.

September 26th, 2004

"Fell to Erin are as crap as a horse with nappies", according to the latest PIMP zine.

Click here for the article. It's not as bad as it sounds.

There are a couple of gigs on the way. Stay tuned for details.

September 13th, 2004

I'm a little dazed from staring at a computer screen all day and night, but it's finally finished: the new home of www.felltoerin.com

Have a look around, and you'll find new pictures, five new songs to download including a couple of live tracks, as well as a few fiddly web features that you probably couldn't give a fat rat's clacker about.

Have fun, and don't forget to join the mailing list below.

September 1st, 2004

Fell to Erin have been busy moving house, and recording a whole stack of new demos. There are about 10 songs undergoing stringent engineering tests to measure the hardness of the rock, all in readiness for a new release in 2005.

While our esteemed drummer Goughy has been awol in Sydney putting the finishing touches on the new Waiter album, the rest of the band has been doing little boring jobs like redesigning the website, gardening, and updating the guestbook.

Have a look around the new-look site. There are some new additions, and even more to come.
